It has been confirmed by international media that South African rapper AKA’s fiancee this morning passed away. According to Sowetan LIve, titnesses at the scene described hearing shouting and a “loud doof” sound and said they had heard a man calling security and crying.
In a videoclip posted on Twitter, Efi Ella the general manager of the PeperClub Hotel where the incident took place, said they got a call at 07:30 they got a call that there was an incident and the police was called subsequently.
“It is a young girl, aged 22. At this stage the police are still investigating.”
The newspaper also reported that AKA who is surrounded by his close friends and family is not taking the death of his fiancée well. AKA recently announced that he had paid lobola.
