NBC sports presenter Jessica Kaimu has got tongues wagging after she set her colleague straight on live television.
By Wednesday night all the Covid-19 gloom was lifted on Namibia and South Africa when the “Jessica, we are live” video clips swam across social media platforms, and a string of quirky memes were soon to follow.
As things are standing right now, you get yourself a branded T-shirt with the logo “Jessica we are live”.
The joke has gone so far that Jesaicia is currently the most trending topic on Twitter, well ahead of the ruling Swapo Party.
In neighbouring South Africa, the hype is even more as the NBC faux pah even made it to their breakfast news bulletins.
SABC live took it further and when third sports came up the two presenters mimicked Jessica’s blunder.
While Jessica seems to be taking it in her stride everyone is questioning her work ethic.
