Renowned Namibian chef and DJ, known affectionately as DJ Oros but also as Chef Lukas Oros, is gearing up for his latest culinary extravaganza in Luanda, set to take place on the 20th of April. This event promises to be a fusion of Namibian and South African flavors, highlighting the rich culinary heritage shared by the two nations.
In an exclusive interview with unwrap.online, DJ Oros expressed his excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “This is one of my biggest events that’s gonna be happening in Luanda.” He attributed the opportunity to showcase his culinary skills to his extensive experience and creativity as a chef in Angola, where he has been working for the past two years.

The event will feature a three-course meal crafted by DJ Oros himself, with attendees invited to book tickets and reserve tables in advance. Speaking about his culinary journey in Luanda, DJ Oros shared, “I’ve opened up close to 16 restaurants in Luanda at the food court that we’re pushing, it’s called Mercado da Rua., which means Market of the Street.”
Beyond his culinary endeavors, DJ Oros is also a sought-after DJ, with numerous bookings lined up in Luanda. Reflecting on his dual career as a chef and DJ, he admitted, “It’s quite tough… but that’s when you find time to at least give attention to the other.” Despite the challenges, DJ Oros is determined to push boundaries and elevate his brand to new heights.
