Miss Namibia partners MOH against COVID-19

    Miss Namibia Nadia Breytenbach,has parterned with Ministry of in running a campaign to encourage fellow Namibians to stay home as a precautionary measure to fight the spread of COVID 19.

    She told unwrap.online that part of the campaign is now being aired on national broadcaster, NBC to sensetive the country on the best ways of combating the contegiuos COVID 19 which has so far infected 16 people.

    “I am part of an awareness campaign organized by our Ministry of Health, where short clips are aired on NBC, where we talk about how important it is to stay at home and where we also clarify what the COVID-19 virus actually is and what we as Namibians can do to help flatten the curve,” said Breytencbach.

    She also added that she is assisting the Side by Side Early Intervention Centre to collect funds to provide basic necessities such as face masks and hand sanitisers for the children they cater for.

    Despite most of her activities being put on hold due to this world-wide pandemic,she said she remains positive and uses the time she has to spread motivation on her social media accounts.

    Breytenbach further urged the public to remain positive and use social platforms to spread awareness as this is what is also doing.
