There is a video of a teacher giving one of her learners a sweet klap and it has the internet divided on who was at fault. The short clip shows a confrontation in class between the teacher and the learner.
In the video the teacher can be seen standing in front of the learner’s desk demanding her to leave the classroom.The teacher can be heard reprimanding the learner for using her phone in the classroom. “If you have a phone you cannot be using this,” says the teacher. The learner is seen pushing the desk after the teacher grabbed her phone. The learner pushed the teacher and pandemonium erupts and the teacher slaps the learner.

We don’t know who is wrong but we know emotions were flying around. We also know that as a learner you need to respect your teachers because they come with a lot of authority and are very knowledgeable. We also know that teachers can be a bit too much at times but mutual respect is needed to stop such incidences from happening.
The fight happened at the Sans Souci Girls’ High School at Cape Town, South Africa. A few learners from the school held a peaceful demonstration in support of the teacher. The school is investigating the matter.
