Namibian personality and model this morning shared on his social media platforms that he was assaulted last night. The Waka Waka Moo founder further stated that it was his first assault confrontation and one that is traumatic to deal with.
According to a statement issued out by his manager Thomas Iitula Munana was dropping off a friend while seated in the passenger seat when a man snatched his personal belongings.
“Filled with adrenaline rush he quickly unbuckled his seat belt and proceeded to chase after the perpetrator. He managed to catch him and found himself in a physical tug. He later realized that 4 other men were approaching him to come and defend the perpetrators these were his friends. His friend quickly came to his aid after ensuring the safety of the car. He ushered him back to the car at which point they both realized that the phone was not worth any further physical harm and it was 2 against 5,” read the statement.

Iitula says Munana urges members of the pubic never to chase a criminal.
“He is grateful that he walked away alive and well despite the physical altercation. He urges you not to ever chase after a criminal to retrieve your stolen possession(s). Due to the above-mentioned, he will be taking a few days off to reflect and deal with this traumatic experience. He will be unreachable and indisposed for a while,” Iitula.
