RTE and Slaugherhouze at it again

Slaughterhouze and Remember The Eagle (RTE) records are still fighting over performance fees. This happened when DJ Spuzza and Txngos posted two events that they are gong to be headlining this Saturday.

“ So since yesterday, I’ve been receiving calls from the bar owners who booked us for the show. They notified me that Jean Emmery from RTE Records is trying to scam them by demanding money from them with the story that we are still under RTE,” DJ Spuzza wrote on his Instagram Story.

He then wrote that they are no longer associated with RTE Records and that the record label issued a press release to make Slaughterhouze look greed. “ I have proof and screenshots that can prove what really went down and why they agreed to part ways with us on our request,” he wrote.

RTE then issued a press release in which Founder and CEO of RTE Records Ennio Hamutenya says that DJ Spuzza did terminate his contract with RTE Records, but refused to sign the termination contract he requested for and pleaded that the matter be taken to court.

“ Due to the ongoing case slaughterhouze is not allowed to have any gigs and bookings until the matter is resolved in court. Any establishment that books DJ Spuzza and/or Txngos will be liable to pay the full booking fee to RTE Records,” Hamutenya wrote.

He also wrote that DJ Spuzza’s accusations brought forth by SJ Spuzza are don so under false pretences. “ The label management team is only following the standard procedure until the case is settled in court,” Hamutenya wrote.
