30 years ago, Warehouse Theatre opened its doors to the public and since then has been at the forefront of Namibia’s art scene, providing a home and a platform for local artists while hosting numerous noteworthy international artists.

The core and purpose in the last 30 years of the Warehouse Theatre, has always been to make performance art in Namibia easily accessible to the public, whilst giving artists a chance to grow their audiences and craft to eventually make a living from doing the work they love.
A riveting night of nostalgic celebrations will be held at the Warehouse Theatre today where local artists and the public will reflect over the past 30 years to engage and celebrate the growth and milestones that the Theatre has made and continues to make.
We are grateful and humbled to have reached this milestone, especially since it’s been such a competitive market with difficult economic prospects over the years. We are truly glad to be able to celebrate with our valued partners, customers and artists from all walks of life in Windhoek and beyond the borders.
As an entertainment establishment and an artistic platform to customers and artists alike, we are honoured to have integrated and become a stellar part of the local art and cultural community and have had the pleasure of working with and meeting myriad people from diverse artistic backgrounds in the industry. We look forward to continuing to build on these strong relationships in the future.
