The Namibian Theatre and Film Awards nominees will be made public as off next week.
The Namibia Theatre and Film Awards (NTFA) event honours and recognizes the work and contributions made by theatre and film practitioners including that who contribute towards the development of the creative industry in Namibia
This year the NTFA will honour theatre practitioners and filmmakers in 13 categories including a special recognition award and 16 film categories including two new categories best student film and best corporate supporter.
According to award organisers the industry has grown over the past years apparent from the number of submissions received promising a very competitive awards ceremony.
Additionally, dates and venues for the film week public screening of all submitted works and information on a three-day master class running to the awards will be soon awarded. The official award ceremony will take place on Saturday 5 October at the NTN.
