Omalaka by Franklin and Dee’A ft Ally Tobias review
By Tobias Pandeni Jesaya
Finally, and I hope you’ll agree with me when I say finally a creative gospel video in the land of the braves.

Directed by Dion, the video finesses with a high level of quality, inviting direction from the beginning until it finishes and smooth transitions from scene to scene and element to element. Usually, gospel videos are shallow in terms of creativity and quality but this one excelled.
- A Boy Who Knows How to Talk May Become a Man Who Knows How Not to Hurt
- Can We Stop Calling Women “Strong” and Start Supporting Them?
- Artists Still Waiting For Payment from “Sounds of Nam” Initiative Despite Fund’s Million-Dollar Investment
- From Street Vendor to Business Owner: Let Us Change How We See Namibian Women
- Namibia’s Girls Need to See Themselves in the Future
The video gets more exciting when its message comes clearer as it goes hand in hand with the song entirely.
The song is from the hymn book and mashed up with personal verses by the two gospel rappers as it talks about wishing to know all languages so one praises the Lord in many ways.

The video shows different races and cultures come together to praise the Lord, cementing the fact that we are all one in God’s eyes and the need for unity.
What a perfect message at a perfect time, not to forget the beautiful cultural costumes and its people starring. It would be unfair if the edits are forgotten, I mean the video spends a lot of time on a single scene but it doesn’t even get boring because of how well every single detail comes into play.
The only thing I would change about the video is making the backup singers show excitement and zest as Ally Tobias did. Finally, yes Finally.
